block two variation
This variation uses Halloween novelty fabrics. I used a Michael Miller Halloween print to make a fused applique label.
This block is very similar to the first one I made. I used a plain blue fabric for the stoppered bottle and added the texture with Derwent Inktense pencils and blocks. I added some tiny star-shaped brads for a little extra sparkle.
For the gold bottle, I used a fun Alison Glass fabric with alchemical symbols. I liked it so much I bought all the colorways carried by my LQS. For the center panel, I used a gingham check l. I also shaded it with Derwent Inktense pencils and blocks.
