Block two features a lovely blue bottle I’ve called the Quilted Stopper, and an amber bottle dubbed Sercsol Elliott. Download the patterns here.

This is one of those fantastic early bottles that is just so beautiful. It is a rich deep cobalt blue. This bottle has lattice & diamond in relief, side upper collar seams; and a fabulous stopper that is marked POISON front, center & top!
I chose a blue check for the body of the Quilted Stopper, and set it on a diagonal like the raised pattern on the original bottle, and a mottled light blue for the neck and stopper. I added tiny blue beads to give a more dimensional feel at regular intervals. I used a Tsukineko blue fabric marker to draw in details of the stopper. I made the stopper darker than the neck of the bottle, to give the appearance of transparency.
I used two different fabrics for this bottle as well. I used an autumnal print for the outer bottle, and a golden yellow for the interior. I added text with a Tsukineko marker.
