Spring Clean Your Studio Bloghop!

I jumped at the chance to participate in Cheryl Sleboda‘s Spring Clean Your Studio Bloghop for the second year.

After several out of town events, for which I had yet to unpack, my workspace was a disaster of epic proportions. You know it’s bad when you’re six feet tall and you can’t reach the ironing board or the supplies on the closet shelf.

I spent about two hours on two different days putting things away where they belong. I emptied an entire drawer of stuff I’d been hanging onto for I don’t know why.

I removed all the items that didn’t belong in the space.

got to go!

got to go!

Of course, I put them where they actually belong, I didn’t just pile them in the hallway. No way, nuh uh, not me.

Aaah, I can breathe again. It’s not perfect. Like, we’re not going to discuss that table behind the ironing board. But at least I can reach the ironing board for now!

Be sure and catch up on all the other participants’ studios! I really enjoy seeing how everyone sets up their workspaces.

Great job! Doesn’t it feel wonderful! And what do you mean about just putting stuff in the hallway? I’d never put two large boxes of pillow forms and a bag of shirts in the hallway just to make studio space. That would be ridiculous! 😀

I am so glad to know that I am not alone in being able to turn my studio into an epic disaster area! Thanks for sharing! (And no, I never pile stuff in the dining area when I’m cleaning out…)
